So, Ladies, how do you feel and what do you know about John Norman's propositions?

I'm feeling kind of mushy right now after working to try and clean up the house for one of my mom's friends. And is there any specific proposition, or are you talking about Gor in general. If it's the later, I would have to say that the books are really just poorly written porn that somehow got a following. It had a great idea in there, but because it's porn, the plot was really just for background, and not really necessary. I'm trying to incorporate Gor here with... well... REALITY. I would like to see how others take this.

Hmm... I hadn't heard of Wolfi before. Then again, I'm kind of isolated. I'll read the article when my brain's more solid. XD

I don't know a whole lot other than the idea that at our core, women are naturally submissive and men are naturally dominant. I've also heard some vague things about philosophy and honor, but always saying that you have to read the books and find the recurring themes to understand the philosophy and the honor.

I like it. I'm just trying to figure out exactly how abductions to Gor work... otherwise, I'd do that part myself. ^^;

I wished to join and abduct her myself, but I do not know how they work. Do they just simply zap them from earth to Gor? Do they transfer them to a holding space between the two planets? Do the slaves start out in the Priest Kings area, and then are forced to travel to a Gor city? I hadn't thought of that when making this, and I can't seem to find an answer.

You'd probably actually have to read some of these books to find out. Or invent something. I wouldn't know the difference.

I am debating on whether or not I want to be a slave or a Freewoman/Mistress. I'm naturally dominant so it might be fun to play someone who is submissive.

It's okay, you can go with that if you like. Usually several men go on a 'hunting party' where they go to Earth to search for a woman who sparks their interest. That is if they are going for a slave for themselves. Slave traders will just grab an attractive woman, especially if dressed skimpily or doing something to attract a man's attention then it shows they are 'slaves at heart'.

Lithia is correct. That is how things are done in the Gor books. However, that does not mean you must change how you started it out.

I kind of already changed it. But not by very much. ^^; I'll keep in mind this information for later on, however.
